TUC Day of Action
1. We respect the right for people to take part in industrial
action on the day [and acknowledge this will involve some of our
own staff].
2. We support those who plan to carry out peaceful
protest and seek the public's support to prevent anyone using this
as a cover for criminal activity, as this could detract from the
concerns being expressed by the vast majority.
3. We are planning for the day with partners across the
county in an effort to maintain essential services wherever
possible.
